Will never forget this day…

Day 21 (14/10/09)
Ok! today marks the end of attachment at eden no sono and the 3rd wk in Japan! 8 more days and i will be heading for Osaka!
Haha...i realise suddenly last night why im so independent...haha like i wake up on the dot and at times way before...then i plan when to wash my clothes, when to throw rubbish and when to start packing for Osaka and what to pack, etc. It's like since i landed in Japan, i have never stopped planning...oh what to do, my partner left her brains in Singapore! haha...

ok, so the Ot girls have returned to Sg yesterday morning...so now left 2 of us again...yup and i realise that some of the leaves have started to turn red! im so eager to see them all turn red! the autumn leaves! Don't ask me why, but i have no idea why im so eager to see the autumn leaves...hehe

so last day at eden no sono...in the morning, i requested to observe showering as i have not seen it yet...so she say ok, the toilet at my level is for immobile pt where they have a big bath tub. but today is shower day for mobile male patients, so its at level 2...so only have mini bathtub...:( but anyway, before that, followed hono san to send patient up to the 4th floor for rehabilitation...followed by observing foot care. In this place, foot care means to soak the pt feet into hot water for 10-15min and massage...to promote circulation as most of the time they are in wheelchair and don't really use their feet. so yup...goodness, hono san can really squat for long! i squat and stand squat and stand...hehe cant take it! then 9.30am, i was to follow kato san to shower the male pt. so we wheel them down to level 2 and shower them...it was kind of a long process. first you have to change into slippers, then fold up your track pants, then put on the apron...remove your pt clothes, bring him to the bathing seat and shower...then let him soak in bath...then dry...ya and power lor, you can bathe 2 pt at one time...i thought the pt will feel paiseh...but oh well...after its done, you have to scrub everything that comes in contact with the pt...go into the bathtub and scrub it k! and the pt shit in the bathtub la! i want cry lor!!!! but at end of everything, you have to wash your legs and hands...hehe oh ya, you have to fold up the apron if you are going to fetch other pt...looks really awful! haha...

then after that, wheeled pt out for walk with kato san. then he bring us to a super nice place...i cant rmb what its called, but its super duper nice! like a small park. theres a pool with a small fountain, then in there, there are many huge koi! really nice! and they have this super nice smelling flower in level 3 as well as the park...and red leaves! its a really nice place!!!! yup, then back to care centre, served them lunch, feed one pt lunch, then went back to green pension for lunch...

after lunch, cleaned wheelchair again, then hono san say 'let's going shopping with so and so' and i was like SHOPPING?! haha...so we wheeled her to the place where the shops have set up a bazzar...and first we approached the shoe shop, where she got a pair of shoes that cost 6000 plus yen...then clothes shop and she got a jacket or top for dont know how many thousand yen also...so far the most expensive top i saw was 9800 yen! so ex la! really costly! wow!

after shes done and i had alot of fun, we went back to care centre and the staff said she had to go to the clinic so off we went to the clinic and i saw her got her chicken pox jab. then send her back to her room, hono san return her purchases after writing her name in them. Washed my hands and get the stuff to give them...

then was the end of the day! really fun! tonight going to have dinner with yukimi and friends...wonder what we are eating! hehe...and sato san cried when we said goodbye...so sweet la she!

yup my last entry for 3rd wk in Hamamatsu!!!!!!
